Ice Breaker: What examples of the love of power or the power of love have you seen or experienced?

Read Ephesians 3:14-21
What is Paul’s frame of mind as he prays this prayer?
Paul’s first request is that God would strengthen an empower them in their inner beings.  What resources does God have to do this?  What does it mean to be strengthened “in your inner being”?
What does it mean that “love would be their root, their foundation”?  What are some real applications you can do to make this love your root and foundation?  How have you had this love take root in your life?
Paul prays that they will know God’s love. How does he describe that love?  What difference can a fuller understanding of God’s love make in our lives?  How does this affect how we interact with others, view ourselves, live life, etc.?
What might God do in and through you as a community through prayer, or what are you looking for and asking for as a community? What do you need strengthened from God?
